Upon Closer Inspection...: Orpheus
The great, enigmatic, genius, illustrious Scott Walker. Neither with the first name Scott or last name Walker.
The man has completely disappeared into an image that springs to mind a thousand questions. Between his early music career in pop music to the the shift in the 70’s, the gradual oddity of the 80s and eventually the dark and puzzling albums Tilt andThe Drift, Walker has become something more than just a man and at the same time very simple.
That quote echoes in my mind almost every day
Once just around the time he broke from The Walker Brothers Scott said: “I’m not the kind of person who’ll ever be happy.”
